Our story
The shop other shops recommend
Transmissions are all we think about at our shop on Rollins Road in Burlingame. Rebuilding a gearbox isn't a bolt-on job: it takes real diagnosis, patience, and the discipline to do it right, whether it's a Mercedes 722.6, a BMW automatic, or the transmission out of a Sprinter van.
Customers find us the way you'd hope: word of mouth. Drivers get referred to us by other specialists, and they stay because we stand behind the work: tracking down the right part instead of the expensive one, and following up until the car drives the way it should.
We're open Monday through Friday, 8 to 5. Call us, tell us what your car is doing, and we'll tell you honestly what it needs.

What customers say
“Dirk and his team are the very best. My BMW transmission was repaired in two days. High quality work and at a very reasonable price. Top notch business.”
“Dirk and his team were extremely great to work with. They rebuilt the transmission for my Sprinter van, which is a 722.6, and they were even able to pick up the transmission in Sacramento where I live and drop it back off. And I did all that within less than 24 hours!!”
“Serious work being done here by Dirk and his team. Reasonably priced as well. I drive a gen 1 CLS 500 and Dirk made the car feel brand new! I was referred here by Mercedes Services of Silicon Valley and happy they did, i love this shop!”
